Russian army loses 1,010 soldiers in war against Ukraine in one day

The total combat losses of Russian troops from February 24, 2022, to February 21, 2026, in the war against Ukraine amount to about 1,258,890 soldiers, of which 1,010 were killed in the past day.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

The Russian army also lost 11,685 (+1) tanks, 24,063 (+3) armored combat vehicles, 37,429 (+42) artillery systems, 1,651 (+2) multiple launch rocket systems, 1,303 (+0) air defense systems, 435 (+0) aircraft, 348 (+1)helicopters, 140,408 (+1,527) tactical UAVs, 4,314 (+0) cruise missiles, 29 (+0) ships/boats, 2 (+0) submarines, 79,295 (+183) vehicles and tankers, 4,073 (+0) special equipment.

As reported by Ukrinform, as of 22:00 on February 20, there were 130 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders on the front line, with the enemy attempting 22 attacks in the Pokrovsk sector.
