Russians launch missile strike on Kharkiv
Russian forces have carried out a missile strike on Kharkiv’s Slobidskyi district.
This was reported by Ukrinform, citing Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov on Telegram.
“An enemy missile strike on the Slobidskyi district has been recorded. The consequences are being clarified,” the post said.
Earlier, the Air Force of Ukraine warned of a ballistic missile threat to the city.
Later, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov provided an update.
“As a result of the shelling, two vehicles caught fire. No information about casualties has been reported,” he wrote.
An air raid alert remains in effect in Kharkiv.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, the Security Service of Ukraine detained a 17-year-old Russian agent who was preparing terrorist attacks in crowded areas of Kharkiv.
