Ukrainian forces strike Russian air defense system, command posts, drone workshop – General Staff
The Ukrainian Defense Forces have struck a number of key Russian military targets both on Russian territory and in the temporarily occupied areas of Ukraine.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
In particular, on the night of February 17-18, Ukrainian forces hit a concentration area of an enemy drone unit near Trudove and a Russian UAV workshop near Tokmak in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region, a communications hub near Staromlynivka in the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region, as well as a concentration area of military equipment in temporarily occupied Donetsk.
On February 17, near temporarily occupied Mariupol in the Donetsk region, a launcher of a Russian S-300VM surface-to-air missile system was struck.
Enemy drone command posts were also hit near Salnoye in Russia's Kursk region and near temporarily occupied Rodynske in the Donetsk region.
Clarification of Russian losses and the final extent of damage is ongoing.
