Russia’s war casualty toll in Ukraine up by 1,180 over past day

Total combat losses of Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022 to February 16, 2026, amount to approximately 1,254,450 personnel, including 1,180 losses over the past day.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

According to the report, Russia has also lost: 11,676 (+4) tanks, 24,042 (+5) armored combat vehicles, 37,319 (+26) artillery systems, 1,648 (+0) multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), 1,301 (+1) air defense systems, 435 (+0) aircraft, 347 (+0) helicopters, 135,459 (+601) operational-tactical UAVs, 4,286 (+0) cruise missiles, 29 (+0) warships / boats, 2 (+0) submarines, 78,654 (+169) motor vehicles and fuel tankers, 4,071 (+0) units of special equipment.

As Ukrinform previously reported, as of 22:00 on February 5, 217 combat engagements between Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded along the frontline, with the heaviest fighting – 58 attacks – occurring on the Pokrovsk front.
