Verified Starlink terminals operational as Russian access blocked – Fedorov
Starlink terminals that have been added to the “white list” are operational, while Russian terminals have already been blocked.
According to Ukrinform, this was announced by Ukraine’s Minister of Defense, Mykhailo Fedorov, on Telegram.
“We continue verifying Starlink terminals. The first batch of terminals that made it onto the ‘white list’ is already working,” he said.
According to Fedorov, the “white lists” are currently updated once a day. “If you have submitted your terminal for registration but it is not yet working, you should wait. This is a very large-scale process that takes time. At the same time, we are already working to ensure that data are submitted for verification in real time,” he explained.
Civilians must verify their Starlink terminals through Administrative Service Centers (CNAPs). For legal entities, the relevant service will soon be available on the Diia portal.
“Our team, together with partners, is promptly processing all cases. I thank the military personnel and commanders who quickly verified their terminals. Continuity and stability of communications for the front line are critically important,” the Defense Minister emphasized.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, the Ministry of Defense explained how to carry out Starlink verification so that terminals can operate in Ukraine.
