Musk says steps to stop Russia's use of Starlink work
He stated this on the social network X, Ukrinform reports.
"Looks like the steps we took to stop the unauthorized use of Starlink by Russia have worked. Let us know if more needs to be done," Musk wrote.
In this way, he was responding today to a tweet from Ukraine's Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov from Thursday, in which he thanked SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell and Elon Musk for their swift response to news that Russia was using drones equipped with the Starlink internet system.
As Ukrinform previously reported, according to Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Russian forces are increasingly using American Starlink systems on attack drones in order to overcome Ukrainian electronic warfare capabilities and to increase the effectiveness and accuracy of their attacks.
