Russian shelling of Kherson region leaves three killed, four wounded

In the Kherson region, three people were killed and four others injured over the course of the day as a result of Russian attacks.

According to Ukrinform, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office stated this on Telegram.

"Under the procedural supervision of the Kherson region prosecutor's offices, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of war crimes," the statement said.

According to the investigation, throughout February 4, 2026, the enemy shelled populated areas of the Kherson region using artillery and drones.

As of 17:30, it is known that three civilians were killed as a result of Russian aggression, and four others were injured.

In particular, at around 07:00, Russian troops carried out a combined strike in the city of Beryslav: artillery and UAVs hit a minibus, injuring the driver. At 14:30 in the same locality, the occupiers killed a civilian by directing an FPV drone at a person.

In Oleksandrivka of the Stanislav community, at approximately 09:45, the Russian army targeted a vehicle serving the local feldsher-midwife station with an FPV drone. A staff member of the facility was killed, and the driver of the vehicle was injured.

Also in the morning, as a result of artillery shelling in the outskirts of Kherson, a man who was on the street was killed. One more person was injured in the regional center due to explosives dropped by the enemy from a UAV.

In the evening, in the village of Ukrainka, the enemy dropped explosives from a drone, injuring one person.

Private houses, trolleybuses, and cars were damaged.

As Ukrinform previously reported, in the village of Oleksandrivka of the Stanislav community, the enemy attacked a medical service vehicle with a drone, killing a medical worker and wounding the driver, and in Kherson a 38-year-old man was killed as a result of artillery shelling; criminal proceedings have been initiated.
