War update: 153 clashes on frontline over past day, most attacks in Pokrovsk, Huliaipole sectors
On February 3, Ukrainian Defense Forces recorded 153 combat clashes with Russian invaders on the frontline.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook at 08:00 on Wednesday, February 4, according to Ukrinform.
The Russians launched two missile strikes using 72 rockets and 38 airstrikes, dropping 148 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, Russian forces deployed 7,887 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,911 shelling attacks, including 46 with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Russian forces struck with guided bombs in the Dnipropetrovsk region (Dolyna and Zelena Dolyna) and in the Zaporizhzhia region (Kosivtseve, Yehorivka, Luhivske, Verkhnia Tersa, Liubetske).
Ukrainian missile and artillery units struck one enemy personnel concentration area, nine enemy missile and artillery assets, one air defense system, four enemy command posts.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian forces repelled two attacks. The enemy launched six airstrikes using 12 guided aerial bombs and 106 shelling attacks, including three with MLRS.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, four assaults on Ukrainian positions near Prylipka and Mariine were repelled.
In the Kupiansk sector, there were five enemy attacks; Ukrainian forces repelled assaults near Kurylivka, Petropavlivka, and Novoosynove.
In the Lyman sector, Russian forces launched seven attacks near Zarichne, Stavky, Lyman, and toward Drobysheve.
In the Sloviansk sector, twelve enemy attempts were repelled near Zakytne, Sviato-Pokrovske, Platonivka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Dronivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the Russians attacked in the Predtechyne area.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, there were eight enemy attacks in Shcherbynivka, Kleban-Byk, Ivanopillia, Sofiivka, Novopavlivka, and Pleshchiivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 35 enemy assaults near Shakhove, Novyi Donbas, Pokrovsk, Svitle, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopavlivka, Myrnohrad, Sofiivka, and toward Ivanivka, Hannivka, and Rodynske.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, three engagements occurred near Andriivka-Klevtsove and Ivanivka.
In the Huliaipole sector, Russian forces attempted 25 advances near Huliaipole, Novopole, Zelene, Sviatopetrivka, Dobropillia, Staroukrainka, Zaliznychne, Pryluky, and toward Myrne.
In the Orikhiv sector, two enemy attacks toward Prymorske and Plavni were repelled.
In the Prydniprovske sector, no offensive actions were reported.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of Russian offensive formations were detected.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to February 4, 2026, are estimated at approximately 1,243,070 personnel, including 780 over the previous day.
