Russians shell children's playground in Kherson: one person killed, mother and two daughters injured
Russian forces shelled the Korabelnyi district of Kherson using multiple launch rocket systems. A children's playground where parents and children were spending time came under enemy fire.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by the head of the city military administration, Yaroslav Shanko.
The occupiers struck the city at around 17:30.
As a result of the enemy shelling, a 36-year-old woman and her two daughters, aged six and three, were injured. They suffered blast injuries and multiple shrapnel wounds. All three are under medical supervision.
Later, Shanko reported that a man sustained injuries incompatible with life as a result of the enemy strike. Authorities are still working to establish the identity of the deceased.
"According to preliminary information, Russian terrorists killed the father of the family that is currently hospitalized — the mother and her two young daughters," the head of the military administration noted.
As Ukrinform previously reported, in Bilozerka, Kherson region, on the afternoon of May 27, Russian troops attacked a 60-year-old man riding a motorcycle with a drone. As a result of the enemy UAV strike, the victim suffered blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to his legs.
