Sweden is preparing one of its largest security assistance packages for Ukraine.

That is according the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Ukrinform reports.

"Sweden is preparing one of its largest security assistance packages for Ukraine, including air defense systems, Saab radars, electronic warfare equipment, and drones, including deep-strike capabilities," the statement said.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov and his Swedish counterpart Pal Jonson discussed countering ballistic threats through the Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) initiative, as well as the launch of the Brave-Sweden program for defense innovation and the transfer of Gripen fighter jets and Meteor missiles.

Fedorov earlier held talks with Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans on further cooperation to strengthen air defense and develop drones and production.
