Russian drone hits maternity hospital in Zaporizhzhia

An explosion was heard in Zaporizhzhia during an air raid alert. Enemy forces struck the city with a drone, hitting a maternity hospital.

The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, stated this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Russians struck a maternity hospital in Zaporizhzhia. Preliminary reports indicate two people have been injured," he wrote.

It is noted that the air raid alert is ongoing. Russian UAVs are still being detected over the regional center, so residents are urged to remain in safe places.

As Ukrinform previously reported, over the past day, January 31, Russian forces carried out 383 strikes on Zaporizhzhia region, damaging infrastructure and injuring civilians.
