Russian forces shell Donetsk region nine times over past day

Over the past day, Russian troops carried out nine shelling attacks in the Donetsk region, damaging residential buildings and a gas pipeline.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, stated this on Telegram.

"Overall, over the past day the Russians shelled settlements in the Donetsk region nine times. In Zapovidne of the Shakhove community, seven houses were damaged; in Zolotyi Kolodiaz, five; in Toretske and Kucherevyi Yar, one each. In Mykolaivka, a gas pipeline was damaged. In Druzhkivka, two private houses and a warehouse were damaged. In Platonivka of the Siversk community, a house was damaged," Filashkin wrote, adding that no information about casualties was received during the day.

He also noted that 337 people were evacuated from the front line, including 13 children.

As Ukrinform previously reported, a Kenyan national who was fighting on the side of Russia was eliminated in Donetsk region.
