Two injured as Russian forces attack Kharkiv region with guided aerial bomb, drones

On January 31, Russian forces shelled the Kharkiv region using a guided aerial bomb and several types of drones. Civilian infrastructure was damaged, and two women were injured.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Over the past day, the city of Kharkiv and five settlements in the Kharkiv region came under enemy strikes. Two people were injured as a result of the shelling. In the village of Kivsharivka of the Kupiansk community, a 60-year-old woman was injured; in the village of Synykha of the Kurylivka community, a 60-year-old woman was injured. The enemy actively used various types of weapons against the Kharkiv region: one guided aerial bomb and eight UAVs," Syniehubov wrote.

He added that civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed, including power grids in the town of Zolochiv and residential buildings.

"The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 70 people over the past day. In total, 17,772 people have been registered at the point since it began operating," Syniehubov added.
