Russian army shells communications, energy, and transport facilities in Chernihiv region
Over the past day, Russian troops shelled communications, energy, and transport facilities, as well as critical infrastructure enterprises in four districts of the Chernihiv region.
This was reported on Telegram by the Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus, according to Ukrinform.
“Over the past day, the Russians targeted communications, energy, and transport facilities, as well as critical infrastructure. This time, the Koriukivka, Novhorod-Siverskyi, Chernihiv, and Nizhyn districts were hit,” Chaus said.
He noted that the enemy used Geran, Molniya, and FPV drones. A fire broke out at one of the locations. As a result of another strike, several settlements in the border area are still without power.
According to the Head of the Regional Military Administration, Russian troops fired on settlements in the Chernihiv region 15 times during the day, with 23 explosions recorded.
As reported by Ukrinform, on January 28, Russian Geran UAVs struck an energy facility in the Semenivka community in the Chernihiv region, leaving several settlements without power.
