There is currently no threat of attacks from sea, says Pletenchuk
Russian warships and submarines have not been spotted in the sea for over a week.
According to Ukrinform, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Naval Forces, Captain 3rd Rank Dmytro Pletenchuk, announced this on television.
“There have been no sorties for a long time, we have not observed any Russian combat units for over a week, nor have we observed any submarines,” said the Navy spokesman.
At the same time, as Pletenchuk noted, enemy aviation activity in the maritime zone remains high. However, there is no question of strikes from the sea at this time.
As reported by Ukrinform, Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk said that Russian ships sail out to sea and launch missiles on average two to three times a month.
