In Kharkiv region, Ukrainian troops clear settlements after enemy assaults, says Demchenko

In the Kharkiv region, Ukrainian units are clearing settlements and capturing invaders after unsuccessful attempts to advance.

According to Ukrinform, this was stated on television by State Border Guard Service spokesman Andrii Demchenko.

"The enemy continues its attempts to advance deeper into our country and expand the combat zone. The most intense fighting is currently taking place toward the settlements of Dihtiarne, Nesterne, and Kruhle. Again, the attempts to advance are being made by small infantry groups. The enemy is not using equipment and is suffering major losses. I would like to note that our units are not only repelling attacks, but also clearing the area. This was the case, for example, yesterday," Demchenko said.

According to him, the Ukrainian troops are capturing occupiers who tried to enter Ukrainian territory.

He also noted that in the Kharkiv region, the enemy is active in the area of Vovchanski Khutory, in the defense zones where the State Border Guard Service units are located.
