General Staff confirms hit on oil refinery in Krasnodar region
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the hit on the infrastructure of the Slavyansk Eco oil refinery in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff reported this on Facebook.
On the night of January 26, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the infrastructure of the Slavyansk Eco oil refinery (Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Krasnodar region).
The enterprise's annual processing capacity exceeds 4 million tons of oil. This plant is part of the Russian Federation's energy rear and is involved in supplying the aggressor's armed forces.
UCAV strikes on the plant's territory, and explosions in the target area were documented.
According to preliminary reports, the primary oil-refining facilities were hit. The extent of the damage is being assessed.
The logistics warehouses of the Russian invaders in the temporarily occupied Donetsk and in the village of Solodkovodne, Zaporizhzhia region, were also hit.
In addition, to weaken the Russians' offensive capabilities, strikes were carried out against the UAV control point of the unit in the area of Velyka Novosilka (Donetsk region) and against concentrations of enemy manpower in the areas of Yunakivka (Sumy region) and Kolisnykivka (Kharkiv region).
The number of invaders killed and wounded is being determined.
As reported by Ukrinform, in the morning of January 26, Andrii Kovalenko, Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council, said that an attack on an oil refinery had occurred in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation.
