More than 30,000 users left without power in Odesa region due to Russian attack

On the night of January 19, Russians attacked the energy infrastructure of the Odesa region, leaving 30,800 customers without power.

According to Ukrinform, the DTEK Group reported this on Telegram.

“During the night, the enemy significantly damaged DTEK's energy facility in Odesa. Due to the shelling, 30,800 families are currently without electricity,” the message says.

It is noted that the infrastructure damage is severe, and repairs will take a long time to restore the equipment to working order.

Energy workers are currently working on site, clearing debris, after which they will begin repairs. The primary task is to restore power to critical infrastructure facilities to provide heat and water to homes.

As reported, residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged in Odesa as a result of a nighttime Russian attack.
