60 teams of power engineers work to restore power in Kyiv

Network restrictions remain in place in Kyiv, with 60 teams of power engineers working to restore power.

According to Ukrinform, this was announced by First Deputy Minister of Energy Artem Nekrasov at a briefing.

“The situation in Kyiv and the Kyiv region remains difficult, with frosts creating an additional load on the power system. Sixty crews are working to restore power supply in the capital, 12 of which have arrived from other regions. Distribution system operators continue to apply network restrictions,” Nekrasov said.

According to him, a return to the projected schedules will occur immediately after the power grid stabilizes.

In addition, he added, network restrictions remain in effect in the Odesa region.

Nekrasov called on customers to use electricity sparingly throughout the day, especially during peak hours in the morning and evening.
