Russians strike Semenivka, Chernihiv region, four people injured

Russian forces struck the residential area of Semenivka in the Chernihiv region with a strike drone, injuring four people.

The head of the Novhorod-Siverskyi District Military Administration, Oleksandr Seliverstov, sated this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Around noon on January 17, the enemy attacked the residential area of Semenivka with a Molniya-type strike UAV. The drone hit a local woman's house. Law enforcement officers arrived to assist. During their presence at the scene, a second attack occurred, injuring three police officers and the 59-year-old homeowner," Seliverstov said. He added that all the injured were taken to a medical facility and are receiving care.

The house sustained damage to the roof, facade, windows, and fence.

As Ukrinform previously reported, on January 17 Russian forces attacked infrastructure in the town of Semenivka, Chernihiv region, with a Molniya-type strike drone.
