Zelensky after Syrskyi's report: Russian losses must not decrease
President Volodymyr Zelensky said that despite the difficult situation on the front due to weather conditions and Russian assaults, the defense of Ukrainian positions continues. The Head of State also stressed that Russian losses must not decrease.
Zelensky said this in his address, Ukrinform reports, citing his Telegram channel.
"Today, there was a briefing from Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi. Things are difficult everywhere right now, but at the front, they are the hardest. Considering the weather and the Russian efforts to pretend that the need to end this war does not concern them. Assaults continue. The defense of our positions continues. I want to thank every unit of ours, every soldier, sergeant, and officer, achieving results for Ukraine. Pokrovsk direction, Huliaipole, Kupyansk direction – all directions wherever needed," Zelensky said.
Zelensky emphasized that "Russian losses must not decrease."
"Our defense at the front is our strength in diplomacy. Ukraine must be strong. I thank everyone who fights for this and who works for Ukraine," he added.
As Ukrinform reported, since the beginning of the day a total of 72 combat clashes have been recorded on the front, with Russian invaders applying the greatest pressure on the Pokrovsk direction.
