Russian troops shell Kherson, woman killed
In the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson, a 79-year-old woman was killed as a result of Russian shelling.
According to Ukrinform, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported this on Telegram.
"Russian troops have taken the life of another resident of Kherson," the statement says.
It is noted that at around 13:40, occupying forces shelled the Dniprovskyi district of the city. As a result of the attack, a 79-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries.
According to the Regional Military Administration, the number of wounded in the region from previous days has also increased. In particular, a man sought medical help after being injured on January 5 due to Russian shelling of the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. The 65-year-old Kherson resident was diagnosed with blast injuries and a concussion. He received medical assistance and was released for outpatient treatment.
Another resident, from the village of Bilozerka, also sought medical help after being attacked by Russians with a drone during the daytime on January 6. The occupiers dropped an explosive from a UAV on a 53-year-old man who was riding a bicycle. He sustained blast injuries and a concussion and was hospitalized.
As Ukrinform reported, over the past day one person was killed in the Kherson region as a result of Russian aggression.
