Russia intensifies pressure on Chasiv Yar – military

Taking advantage of weather conditions, the Russian army has stepped up pressure on the city of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region.

The 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

The enemy is trying to amass forces and is using all available types of weapons, including multiple launch rocket systems.

Ukrainian defenders are holding the city's defenses. In the area of responsibility of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade, the number of eliminated Russian troops doubled over the past week compared with the previous one.

Over the past week, Russian forces in this sector lost 62 personnel killed and 34 wounded, along with 425 drones of various types, two artillery systems, two ground drones, six vehicles, 13 communication antennas, three electronic warfare systems, four ammunition and weapons depots, as well as a number of fortifications and generators.
