Eight people injured in Kharkiv region due to Russian shelling
Over the past day, Russian troops struck Kharkiv and nine settlements in the Kharkiv region, injuring eight people.
This was reported by the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Over the past day, the city of Kharkiv and nine settlements in the Kharkiv region were hit by enemy strikes. Eight people were injured as a result of the shelling,” Syniehubov wrote.
According to him, a 38-year-old man was injured in the city of Lozova, and a 20-year-old man was injured in the village of Ruski Tyshky in the Tsyrkuny community. In the village of Novopokrovka, a 60-year-old and a 65-year-old women were injured; in the village of Movchany, Bezliudivka community, an 18-year-old and a 47-year-old men, as well as a 45-year-old and a 66-year-old women were injured.
The enemy attacked the Slobidskyi and Nemyshlyanskyi districts of Kharkiv with missiles and UAVs. Various types of weapons were used in the Kharkiv region, including missiles, UAVs of the Geran-2, Lancet, and Molniya types.
It is noted that as a result of the attacks, an infrastructure facility was damaged in Kharkiv, and a car (in the village of Myrne), a private house, and power lines (in the village of Velykyi Burluk) were damaged in the Kupiansk district. In the Kharkiv district, two private houses were damaged (in the villages of Ruski Tyshky and Movchany), and in the Lozova district, an apartment building, railway infrastructure (in the city of Lozova), and a private house (in the village of Nadiine) were damaged. In the Chuhuiv district, four private houses, four cars, a bus, and power lines (Novopokrovka village) were damaged.
The Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration also reports that the transit evacuation point in Lozova received 40 people in 24 hours. A total of 16,424 people have been registered at the point since it began operating.
Over the past day, 173 combat clashes were recorded.
As reported by Ukrinform, on January 10, the regional center and five other settlements in the Kharkiv region were under attack by the Russian Federation, and a civilian woman was wounded.
