Ukraine urges swift approval of Drone Deal with Italy

Serhii Kyslytsia, First Deputy Head of the Office of the President, stated that Kyiv is counting on the Drone Deal being finalized as soon as possible, as it will mark a significant step forward in bilateral cooperation with Italy.

According to Ukrinform, he made this statement at a ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of the proclamation of the Italian Republic.

Kyslytsia noted that Italy’s patronage of the restoration of Odesa and other cultural sites in Ukraine is not merely a matter of policy, but values in action.

According to the First Deputy Head of the Office of the President, Italy knows what it means to rise from the ruins.

“We are grateful to Italy and personally to Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni for their consistent support of Ukraine,” Kyslytsia said.

As reported by Ukrinform, Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani emphasized the need to strengthen Ukraine’s position and pave the way for its full membership in the European Union.
