Paratroopers stop advance of more than 20 Russian assault soldiers in north of Pokrovsk
Units of the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade prevented an attempt by a group of enemy infantrymen to storm the northern part of Pokrovsk.
According to Ukrinform, the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram and showed a video of the combat operation.
During the attack, more than 20 enemy infantrymen tried to take advantage of the weather conditions to advance and move covertly. However, the Sicheslav paratroopers detected them in time and gave the enemy a harsh response.
"Thanks to their coordinated actions, the paratroopers inflicted fire damage on the invaders. After that, the enemy assault group lost the ability to advance further and was forced to hide in private buildings and basements," the report said.
As a result of further reconnaissance, the Sicheslav paratroopers eliminated the enemy infantrymen.
As reported by Ukrinform, fighters of the 79th Separate Airborne Assault Tavria Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine exterminated several groups of Russian military personnel near Myrnohrad, Donetsk region, who were using cesspools on the territory of a farm as cover.
