Water infrastructure facilities in Kyiv left without power due to Russian attack

Water infrastructure facilities in Kyiv were left without power as a result of a massive Russian attack on the night of January 9.

According to Ukrinform, Kyivvodokanal reported this on its Facebook page.

“Due to enemy shelling, water infrastructure facilities in the capital have been left without power. Currently, there is no water supply in the Pecherskyi district and the left bank of the city,” the statement said.

Kyivvodokanal specialists, in collaboration with energy companies, are working to stabilize the situation, restore power supply, and return the water supply system to regular operation.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of January 9, the Russians attacked Kyiv with drones and missiles. Due to the complicated energy situation, trains on the Red Line of the capital's subway are operating with adjustments.
