Russian commanders in Donetsk region threaten subordinates with reprisals – HUR

Intelligence officers intercepted a conversation in which a Russian commander threatens a subordinate soldier with reprisals after the latter asks to postpone the time of moving to a position due to the risk to his life.

The Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated this on its website and released the relevant audio recording, Ukrinform reports.

The participants in the conversation were two occupiers fighting in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region.

"Could I please go at six in the morning. I do not want to risk it at that time; I barely made it from that basement," one of them asks.

In response, he receives a harsh refusal accompanied by threats.
