Russian attacks in Donetsk region kill one person, injure another over past day

Over the past day in the Donetsk region, one person was killed and another injured as a result of attacks by the Russian army.

The Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Vadym Filashkin reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"On January 3, the Russians killed one resident of Donetsk region in Sloviansk. Another person in the region was injured over the past day," the report says.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, 3,865 people have been killed and 8,747 injured in Donetsk region. The total number of Russian casualties in the region is reported excluding Mariupol and Volnovakha.

As Ukrinform previously reported, the day before, Russia attacked residential areas of Kramatorsk three times, injuring one person.
