Russian attacks kill two people, injure six others over past day in Donetsk region

In the Donetsk region, two civilians were killed and six others were injured over the past day due to Russian strikes.

The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"On January 2, the Russians killed two residents of Donetsk region — in Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka. Another six people in the region were wounded over the course of the day," Filashkin wrote.

The total number of Russian victims in Donetsk region (3,864 killed and 8,746 injured) is given excluding Mariupol and Volnovakha.

As reported earlier, on January 1 Russian invaders killed one resident of Donetsk region and wounded four others.
