Near Pokrovsk, Russians unsuccessfully attempt to concentrate forces for assault on Hryshyne — troops
The Russian army is attempting to increase pressure on the northern outskirts of Pokrovsk to launch an assault on Hryshyne subsequently.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russians tried to use the logistics route between Shevchenkove and Pokrovsk to accumulate additional forces and resources.
The enemy used more than 30 units of light equipment, including motorcycles, buggies, and motor vehicles.
Units in the defense zone of the 7th Rapid Response Corps destroyed some of the enemy's equipment while they were still on the march. In particular, thanks to the work of the M142 HIMARS system. The rest of the equipment was detected and destroyed by the Defense Forces directly on the southeastern outskirts of Pokrovsk, as the enemy sought shelter.
According to available information, the 76th Airborne Assault Division of the Russian Federation was involved.
The enemy's goal is to increase pressure on the northern outskirts of Pokrovsk and then storm Hryshyne, according to Ukrainian soldiers.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Defense Forces are blocking the enemy's advance in the center of Pokrovsk.
