Rescue operations end in Chernihiv apartment building hit by Russian drone: One killed, nine injured

Emergency and search operations have been completed in a five-story residential building in Chernihiv that was attacked by Russian Shahed-type kamikaze drones on Thursday, December 25. One person was killed.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine stated this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"As of now, emergency and search operations have been completed in Chernihiv at the site where an enemy drone struck a residential building. As a result of the attack, one person was killed and nine others sustained injuries of varying severity," rescuers said.

As Ukrinform previously reported, as of 18:00 it was known that an 80-year-old woman had been killed as a result of a Russian drone strike on a five-story building in Chernihiv. Ten people were reported injured, including three children.
