The Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense has released footage of a combat operation carried out in November by its Black Winter Group unit on the Pokrovsk front.

The HUR press service published the video on its website, Ukrinform reports.

As part of this mission, aviation assets of the Main Intelligence Directorate were used to quickly deploy troops to reinforce defense along a designated section of the front line.

Aerial reconnaissance teams and FPV drone operators also played a key role in detecting and eliminating Russian forces.

HUR chief, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, previously noted that the operation helped buy crucial time for the main units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to move into Pokrovsk for reinforcement. Following the operation, rumors that Russian forces had captured the city ceased.

"The Black Winter Group special forces demonstrated courage, coordination, and professionalism, which allowed the combat mission to be completed," the agency emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported, in November additional HUR forces cleared a ground corridor and joined reconnaissance special forces in Pokrovsk.
