Russian shelling of Kherson region leaves one killed, four injured over past day

In the Kherson region, one person was killed and four others were injured over the past day as a result of Russian shelling.

The head of Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, stated this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Due to Russian aggression, one person was killed and four others were injured," the statement said.

According to Prokudin, under enemy drone terror, airstrikes, and artillery shelling were the settlements of Antonivka, Sadove, Zelenivka, Prydniprovske, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Sofiivka, Oleksandrivka, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Mykilske, Tokarivka, Poniativka, Beryslav, Zolota Balka, Novoraisk, Nova Kamianka, Ukrainka, the city of Kherson, and several other settlements. Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure as well as residential areas, damaging two apartment buildings and six private houses. A gas pipeline and private vehicles were also damaged.

As Ukrinform previously reported, Russians dropped explosives from a drone onto a hospital in Kherson, injuring a young man who was repairing the roof.
