Air defense forces destroy 58 of 86 Russian drones since yesterday evening

Air defense forces destroyed 58 drones used by Russian troops to attack Ukraine since last night, with enemy strikes recorded at 12 locations.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

According to the military, since 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, the invaders have launched 86 drones of various types, including Shahed and Herbera, at Ukraine.

The launches were carried out from the directions of the Russian cities of Orel, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, from the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region, as well as from Chaudy, in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

More than fifty enemy targets were Shahed-type strike drones.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m. on Monday, air defense forces shot down/jammed a total of 58 enemy drones in the north, south, and east of the country.

At 12 locations, 26 enemy strike UAVs were recorded, and at another location, downed targets (debris) were recorded.

As reported by Ukrinform, critical infrastructure in Odesa was damaged overnight as a result of Russian attacks, and the city is without power.
