Russian shelling leaves two wounded in Dnipropetrovsk region
On Sunday, in the Nikopol district, a man and a woman were wounded as a result of Russian shelling.
The acting head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Vladyslav Haivanenko, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"The enemy shelled the district center and the Pokrovske, Marhanets, and Myrove communities of the Nikopol district with heavy artillery and FPV drones. An 86-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man were injured. The condition of both is moderate," the statement said.
According to Haivanenko, in settlements of the Nikopol district, three apartment buildings and eight private houses were damaged, as well as infrastructure facilities, two agricultural enterprises, a medical facility, garages, outbuildings, and a power transmission line.
"The Russians also directed a drone at the Pokrovske community of the Synelnykove district. People survived, and that is the main thing," he added.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on December 20 Russians attacked the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, damaging infrastructure, a gas station, and four private homes.
