Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Oleksandr Syrskyi discussed the current needs of the Ukrainian military and further strengthening of cooperation with a French delegation led by Chief of the Defence Staff General Fabien Mandon.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook.

Syrskyi met with the French military delegation headed by Mandon.

The parties discussed the situation on the front line, the current needs of the Ukrainian military, and further strengthening of cooperation. France remains one of Ukraine's key partners, in particular within the framework of the Coalition of the Willing and sectoral coalitions on air defense, aviation, artillery, and the training of servicemembers.

"russia demonstrates an unwillingness to end the war and deliberately continues its offensive actions. At the same time, we destroy its personnel and equipment on a daily basis, disrupt its plans, and hold our positions. Despite massive losses and extraordinary efforts, the russian army is failing to achieve any significant operational results," Syrskyi emphasized.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine thanked General Mandon, the government, and the people of France for their steadfast political and military support for Ukraine.
