Russian army loses 1,090 troops, one MLRS over past day
The total combat losses of Russian forces in the war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to December 20, 2025 amount to approximately 1,195,610 personnel, including 1,090 in the past 24 hours.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 11,433 Russian tanks, 23,769 (+1) armored fighting vehicles, 35,287 (+37) artillery systems, 1,575 (+1) multiple rocket launchers, 1,263 anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 4,073 cruise missiles. The Russian army has also lost 432 warplanes, 347 helicopters, 92,488 (+364) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 28 warships/cutters, 2 submarines, 70,721 (+130) vehicles and fuel trucks, and 4,028 (+1) pieces of special equipment.

As Ukrinform reported, as of 22:00 on December 19, there were 148 combat engagements along the frontline.
