Ukrainian forces repel Russian mechanized assault in Dnipropetrovsk region

Soldiers of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Kish Otaman Ivan Sirko repelled a Russian mechanized assault in Dnipropetrovsk Region, destroying five enemy vehicles and eliminating 35 invaders.

The Ukrainian Ground Forces reported this on Telegram and shared video footage of the combat operation, Ukrinform saw.

“Russian forces attempted to break through the positions of the 92nd Assault Brigade with armored vehicles and several dozen infantry. However, UAV crews intercepted the enemy. The assault was repelled,” the statement said.

As a result, two trucks, a T-72 tank, an MT-LB, and a BMP were destroyed, and about 35 invaders were neutralized.

As reported by Ukrinform, as of 8:00 on December 19, a total of 193 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded along the frontline.
