Russian forces strike school in Zaporizhzhia with Molniya drone
The Russian army attacked a school in Zaporizhzhia with a Molniya drone.
The Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"According to the investigation, on December 18, 2025, at about 16:20, the Russians struck a school building in a residential district in Zaporizhzhia. Preliminary information indicates that the enemy used a Molniya-type UAV," the statement said.
The attack damaged the facade of the educational institution and shattered windows and doors. No classes were taking place at the time, children were not injured, and information on any other casualties is being clarified.
An initial investigation is ongoing. Under the procedural supervision of prosecutors from the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, a criminal investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) directorate in the Zaporizhzhia region.
On December 17, the occupiers carried out 684 strikes on 24 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Thirty-five people were injured in enemy attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district.
