Russian attacks leave two dead, four injured in Kherson region

In Kherson region, two people were killed and four others injured throughout the day as a result of Russian shelling, including a healthcare worker.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

“According to the investigation, throughout December 17, 2025, the enemy attacked populated areas of Kherson region using artillery weapons and drones,” the statement said.

As of 17:30, it is known that two people were killed and four others were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

The prosecutor’s office spesified that in Kherson, one man was killed and two others injured during artillery shelling that took place in the morning and afternoon. In addition, the invaders used UAVs in the regional center, injuring two civilians, including a healthcare worker.

According to the Kherson City Military Administration, the injured healthcare worker is a 59-year-old woman who was wounded in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. She sustained blast and closed craniocerebral injuries, as well as a concussion.

The prosecutor’s office also reported that another man sustained injuries incompatible with life in the village of Dariivka. He was riding a moped when Russian forces dropped an explosive device from a drone.

Private homes, apartment buildings, and vehicles were also damaged in the region.
