War update: 157 clashes on frontline since dawn, Russians most active in Pokrovsk sector
Since the beginning of the day, 157 clashes have occurred between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders. The enemy continues to focus its efforts on the Pokrovsk front, while showing increased activity in the Oleksandrohrad sector.
That is according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which shared operational information on Facebook as of 16:00 on Saturday, November 29, Ukrinform reports.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces have already used six glide aerial bombs and carried out 60 artillery strikes, three of which involved multiple rocket launchers.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the invaders attacked Ukrainian positions six times near Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, and Kolodiazne, toward Kutkivka. Two clashes are ongoing.
In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled seven enemy assaults near Pishchane, Kolisnykivka, and Novoplatonivka, as well as toward Nova Kruhliakivka, Hlushkivka, and Petropavlivka. One clash is still ongoing.
In the Lyman sector, the Russians attacked 17 times in the areas of Novoiehorivka, Kopanky, Novovodiane, Serednie, Karpivka, Derylove, Novoselivka, Kolodiazi, and Zarichne, as well as toward Stepove. Eleven clashes are ongoing.
In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled five of seven enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Yampil and Serebrianka. Fighting continues.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian forces stopped four Russian attacks near Chasiv Yar, Novomarkove, and Vasiukivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions in Oleksandro-Shultynske, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Sofiivka. Fourteen enemy attacks were successfully repelled, with two clashes still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions 56 times in the areas of Volodymyrivka, Mayak, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novoekonomichne, Pokrovsk, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novoserhiivka, and Filiia. Ten clashes are still ongoing.
In the Oleksandrohrad sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 24 Russian attacks near Zelenyi Hai, Tovste, Sosnivka, Oleksandrohrad, Sichneve, Vyshneve, Pryvillia, and Rybne. Three clashes are ongoing.
In the Huliaipole sector, ten clashes were recorded. The enemy advanced in the areas of Pryvilne and Solodke, as well as toward Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv sector, Russian troops carried out seven assaults near Stepnohirsk, Stepove, and toward Mala Tokmachka and Novoandriivka.
No clashes were reported on the Prydniprovske sector today.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine’s Defense Forces have completed an operation on the Dobropillia axis, which made it possible to stabilize the situation around Pokrovsk and thwart the enemy’s plans for further advancement.
