Russian attacks on Kherson region leave one person killed, six injured

In the Kherson region, one person was killed and six others were injured as a result of Russian shelling attacks throughout the day.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

“Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, pre-trial investigations have been launched into war crimes,” the statement said.

According to the investigation, on April 30, 2026, Russian forces shelled settlements in the Kherson region using artillery, including multiple launch rocket systems, as well as drones.

As of 17:30, it was confirmed that one person had been killed and six others injured as a result of Russian aggression.

In particular, at around 10:40, in Kherson, the enemy directed a drone at a public transport stop – a man born in 1963 was killed, and another man was injured.

In the regional center, five more civilians were injured over the course of the day.

In addition, private houses and apartment buildings, hospital facilities, a kindergarten, other civilian infrastructure, and vehicles were damaged.

As reported earlier, on April 30, Russian forces attacked a public transport stop in central Kherson with a drone, killing one man and injuring another.
