AFU control situation in the Vovchansk sector

In the Vovchansk sector, the situation remains under the control of units of the 16th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are holding back attacks by Russian troops.

According to Ukrinform, the press service of the corps reported this on its Telegram channel.

"Russian propaganda inevitably intensifies against the backdrop of any negotiation processes, and we are already seeing new ‘victories’ being thrown into the information space. Yesterday, they tried to present the situation around Kupiansk as a triumph; today, it's already Vovchansk. Such information waves are not accidental, but a well-constructed tactic of creating the illusion of success to influence emotions and weaken the resilience of society," the message says.

Ukrainian troops claim that “units of the 16th Army Corps are controlling the situation in the Vovchansk sector, holding back the enemy's frenzied onslaught. And most of the invaders find their last refuge here; for them, the words ‘Vovchansk’ and ‘death’ have already become synonymous.”

The Armed Forces of Ukraine urge citizens to practice information hygiene and trust only verified news sources.
