Russian army attacks Zaporizhzhia region 590 times over past day

Over the course of the day, the occupiers carried out 590 strikes on 22 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region.

The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Russian forces carried out 9 airstrikes on Novopillia, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Vozdvyzhivka, Ternuvate, Rizdvianka, and Preobrazhenka.

331 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV) attacked Novomykolaivka, Chervonodniprovka, Novoyakovlivka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Zatyshshia, Vysoke, Solodke, and Dobropillia.

There were 7 MLRS strikes on Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, and Bilohiria.

A total of 243 artillery strikes were carried out on Chervonodniprovka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, Zatyshshia, and Solodke," he wrote.

A total of 223 reports were received about damage to homes, equipment, and infrastructure.

As Ukrinform reported, evacuations of local residents are currently underway from several frontline communities in the Zaporizhzhia region. The most difficult situation is in Huliaipole, but there is no large-scale evacuation from the region: it involves dozens, not hundreds, of people.
