Russian troops spotted near Serednie in Lyman sector – military spokesperson
Russian occupation forces have been detected near the village of Serednie in the Lyman sector, but their presence is limited, and the area is not considered occupied.
Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Joint Forces Group, stated this in an exclusive comment to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"I double-checked the intelligence reports. Sometimes there are discrepancies in the information about Serednie. There is indeed the presence of Russian troops there, but it's small. It's not an occupation, just a presence – a certain assault group entered the area," Trehubov said.
Earlier reports said that Ukrainian forces had engaged in 118 combat clashes with Russian troops since midnight. Fighting continues on five fronts, with the enemy focusing most of its efforts on the Pokrovsk sector.
