Russian shelling in Kherson: Death toll rises to three, 14 injured

The number of people killed in the massive Russian shelling of Kherson has risen to three, while 14 others have been injured. One of the victims was inside a minibus at the time of the attack.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"As of 10:20, the death of another woman has been confirmed, bringing the total number of casualties from the massive shelling of Kherson to three," the statement read.

The statement also confirmed that 14 people were injured. Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into war crimes that resulted in civilian deaths.

The head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko, confirmed on Telegram the death of the second victim — a woman who is currently being identified. She was reportedly inside the minibus when the Russian strike occurred.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, one person was killed and 14 injured, including a teenager, as a result of the morning shelling of Kherson's Korabelnyi district.
