Russian troops shell Kostiantynivka, killing one person

On October 20, Russian troops shelled Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region, killing a civilian.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by Serhii Horbunov, Head of the Kostiantynivka City Military Administration.

He noted that civil buildings were damaged in Kostiantynivka as a result of two enemy shellings. The first incident occurred in the morning when the city was hit by an air strike using a FAB-250 aerial bomb. The air strike damaged the facade of an apartment building. According to available information, there were no casualties after this shelling.

“In the second case, the city was shelled with barrel artillery. Unfortunately, as a result of the shelling, one civilian died from injuries in his home,” Horbunov said.

He added that the facade of a private house was also damaged.
