DIU soldiers hit Russian Valdai radar system in Crimea

Soldiers of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine hit the Russian invaders' Valdai radar system in temporarily occupied Crimea.

The DIU reported this on Telegram and released a video.

“The masters of the Unmanned Systems Directorate of the Department of Active Operations of the  Defense Intelligence of Ukraine of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine tracked down and accurately struck an expensive radar system camouflaged by the Muscovites at the Dzhankoi Airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea,” the post says.

According to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, the Valdai radar system is the latest Russian complex designed to detect and combat small UAVs.

As reported by Ukrinform, at the end of September, DIU soldiers destroyed two An-26 aircraft belonging to the Russian invaders in temporarily occupied Crimea and hit a surface situation radar station and the MR-10M1 Mys M1 coastal radar station.
