War update: 190 combat clashes on front lines over past day
Ukrainian forces engaged in 190 combat clashes with Russian troops on October 13.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a situation update as of 08:00 on Monday, October 14, according to Ukrinform.
The enemy launched 108 airstrikes, dropping 213 guided aerial bombs, carried out 4,315 attacks, including 69 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 5,214 kamikaze drones to strike Ukrainian positions and settlements.
Russian forces conducted airstrikes near Barvinivka and Zaliznychne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In response, Ukrainian aircraft, missile, and artillery units struck seven enemy troop and equipment concentration areas, three command posts, and two artillery systems.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, six combat clashes were recorded. The enemy launched six airstrikes, dropping 11 guided bombs, and conducted 157 artillery attacks, including two with MLRS.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, 15 clashes took place near Vovchansk, Kamianka, Kutkivka, and toward Bolohivka, Dvorichanske, and Kolodiazne.
In the Kupiansk sector, five Russian assaults were repelled near Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, and toward Kurylivka.
In the Lyman sector, 14 enemy attacks were recorded near Hrekivka, Derylove, Shandryholove, Novoselivka, Karpivka, Torske, and toward Olhivka, Lyman, and Drobysheve.
In the Sloviansk sector, seven attacks were recorded near Yampil, Serebrianka, and Hryhorivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces launched two attacks near Stupochky.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 21 attacks near Predtechyne, Kostiantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Berestok, Rusyn Yar, Mykolaipillia, and Poltavka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 65 assaults near Volodymyrivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Novoukrainka, Novoekonomichne, Balahan, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Myroliubivka, Dachne, Filiia, and toward Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrohrad sector, 28 enemy attacks were repelled near Ivanivka, Oleksandrohrad, Sichneve, Vorone, Stepove, Novomykolaivka, Novohryhorivka, Yalta, and Sosnivka.
In the Huliaipole sector, no offensive operations were recorded.
In the Orikhiv sector: Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions four times near Stepove.
In the Dnipro River sector, three enemy assaults took place toward Antonivka.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups were observed.
